Rhythmic movement, shaped by the sea.

Cavo layers gently undulating bands of cowhide into a fluid pattern of movement and color. Varying from approximately 0.75 to 2 inches in width, the waves shift subtly across the rug, creating an organic rhythm rather than a rigid repeat.

Shown in layered shades of blue, Cavo moves from lighter denim tones through saturated cobalt and deep midnight hues. Every piece of cowhide is individually selected, cut, arranged, and stitched, allowing changes in color, hair direction, and natural texture to give each finished rug its own character.

The Story Behind Cavo

Cavo is named for the boat that carried us from Santorini to Paros. The flowing wave pattern recalls that memorable day at sea, traveling across the Aegean from one beautiful Greek island to another.

Made for Your Space

Cavo is made to order in Brazil by skilled artisans and may be customized in natural cowhide, any of our 30 dyed colors, metallic finishes, embossed hides, and other specialty materials.

Standard and custom dimensions are available, including runners and unusually proportioned spaces. Cavo may also be adapted for a custom wall installation.
